Azerbaijani citizens bought real estate in Armenia

Deputy Chairman of the Cadastre Committee of Armenia Arman Petrosyan told reporters about citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey who own real estate in Armenia.

According to him, the percentage of real estate transactions with the participation of citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey is small. “In the case of Turkish citizens – less than 100, in the case of Azerbaijan citizens – less than one dozen. They are not Azerbaijanis by nationality,” Petrosyan noted.

In Armenia, 450 thousand apartments are registered if Turkish citizens have, for example, 50 apartments, this, Petrosyan believes, “does not cause any anxiety in terms of security”.
