Azerbaijani customs officers held classes for colleagues from Uzbekistan

At the Academy of the State Customs Committee, remote classes were organized for listeners of the Tashkent Customs Institute and the customs officers of Uzbekistan. Thus, the State Customs Committee of the Uzbekistan requested the holding of remote activities for the listeners of the Tashkent Customs Institute and the staff of the Structural Units of the Republic of the Republic, for a number of topics covering the issues of customs control, customs examination and customs clearance, HAQQın.az was informed in the press service of the State Customs Service .

Organization of classes in online format was assigned to the Customs Academy.

On April 26, during the first two classes organized on the ZOOM platform, the main inspector of the audit of the customs operations of participants in the foreign trade of the Main Directorate for Customs Risk Management and the Audit of the State Customs Committee Rashad Salmanov presented to undergraduates and cadets of the Tashkent Customs Institute two lectures. Employees of the Central Office of the Customs Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regional departments and Tashkent airport responsible for auditing customs operations are also connected to online classes.

Listeners explained the methodology for organizing a customs audit, stages and a sequence of it, the procedure for verifying the correctness of the calculation and determining the customs value during the customs audit.

During the current year, the Customs Academy organizes several more online lessons for Uzbek listeners. In these lessons, Azerbaijani specialists will share with Uzbek colleagues their experience in addressing the security issues of goods, the implementation of the fiscal functions of customs authorities, automation of customs procedures, including “smart customs”.
