Today, on November 29, the first round of consultations between the ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia took place in Er-Riyadh. This was reported in the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
Saudi side at consultations was represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Valid Bin Abdulkarim Al-Hureiji, Azerbaijani – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzaev.
The meeting was discussed on the current cooperation between the two countries, as well as the ways of developing bilateral relations in the political, economic, humanitarian and other fields. The parties also exchanged views on regional and global issues representing mutual interest.
Azerbaijani submitted information on post-conflict situation in the region, including on the restoration and reintegration of infrastructure on the liberated territories.
