Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement about the decisions of the UN International Court of Justice, transfers HaqQin.az.
Azerbaijan welcomes the decision of the UN International Court against Armenia and encourages the country to immediately fulfill its obligations, “the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reports says.
Also in a statement by the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan will comply with the measures taken by the court to prevent racial discrimination.
“Azerbaijan is committed to its obligations under international conventions. We will continue to defend the rights of all their citizens and demand from Armenia responsibility for violations of international law,” is indicated in the sentence.
Recall that the UN International Court of Justice did not satisfy the claims of Armenia against Azerbaijan “On the immediate return of prisoners of war”, “on the closure of the Military Trofeyev Park” and “On the Investigation of War Crimes from Azerbaijan”. The international court said that the Armenian side could not provide reasonable evidence on these issues. In addition, the UN International Court of Justice demanded from Armenia to prevent racial hatred in relation to Azerbaijanis.
