Azerbaijani karatist Ragia Azim became the winner of the European Championship among boys and youth, who is held in Prague.
In the competitions of young men (14-15 years old) in the weight category of more than 70 kg, Rabig alternately defeated rivals from Bulgaria, Montenegro, Israel, France and Luxembourg and became the owner of a gold medal.
In the same age category, the bronze awards were won by Fatima Mammadov (47 kg) and Aslan Postostyev (57 kg).
Today, Vakhid Hasanov (16-17 years old) and Huseyn Mamedli (18-21 years old) will also compete for gold.
