In the Baku Grave Crimes Court, the trial on the criminal case of the lawyer of the law office # 13 Akperov Rukhid Rashid oglu has ended.
As reported by haqqin.az, the verdict was read out at the trial chaired by judge Azer Pashayev. By a court decision R. Akperov was sentenced to 3 years in prison. The lawyer, who was at large during the investigation, was arrested in the courtroom.
Note that a charge was brought against R. Akperov under article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code (fraud with causing large damage). He is accused of embezzling more than 50,000 manats that belonged to two citizens.
It is reported that R. Akperov received a large sum of money from citizens, promising to obtain an acquittal or a mitigation of the sentence in a criminal case against their relatives.
Recall that R. Akberov was a lawyer for former deputy Huseyn Abdullayev, nicknamed “Guska” during the preliminary stage of the investigation in his criminal case.
