According to Russian media, Magomednabi Magomedov worked as a senior inspector at the Magaramkent customs post in Dagestan. Once he inspected a truck that arrived in the republic from Azerbaijan.
In the truck, land with more than 25 kg of leeches was carried. According to the law, such a specific product can only be transported with special documents. But Magomedov, having received a bribe of 20 thousand rubles, allowed to do this. As a result, Magomedov was fined 500 thousand rubles and forbidden to serve at customs for two years.
