A bill has been prepared providing for the exemption of media-subjects (with the exception of subjects of audiovisual media) for a period of 3 years.
This was announced at the reporting conference, according to the results of 2022, said Akhmed Ismailov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency.
He noted that according to the bill, media-subjects will be exempt from taxes on income, profit received from their activities, from advertising, as well as from appropriate assistance.
In addition, the media products manufactured by them will be exempted from value added tax.
Ahmed Ismailov noted that the bill is completely agreed with the authorities and is under consideration by the government.
