The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has spread a statement in connection with the illegal activities of Armenian militants in the territory where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed.
According to the report, on November 17, from 09:55 to 14:45, the units of the Azerbaijani army noticed the implementation of illegal Armenian armed groups in Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers, engineering events are temporarily deployed to strengthen military positions in the Agdam and Khojalinsky regions.
Such actions are a gross violation of the requirements of a tripartite statement signed by the presidents of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation and Prime Minister of Armenia on November 10, 2020, the Ministry of Defense noted.
In order to suppress illegal activities, the units of the Azerbaijani army took the necessary measures.
