Orhan Dashdamirli, the deputy chairman of the municipality of the village of Bakikhanov, Sabunchu region, has initiated a criminal case. According to local media reports, shortly thereafter, he became deputy chairman of his own free will.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal case on charges of bribery has been completed and has been sent for consideration to the Baku Grave Crimes Court. Another defendant in this case is Babayev Ilkin Abulfaz oglu.
They were charged under Article 312.2 of the Criminal Code (Receiving a bribe or repeated bribery of an official).
