Azerbaijani President And Minister Of Georgia Discussed Expansion Of Bilateral Relations

Azerbaijan is the main trading partner of Georgia. There is great potential between the countries for the growth of trade.

This was noted during the admission of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev Minister of Economics and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili.

At the meeting, an exchange of views on the implementation of joint projects in various sectors of the economy was held.

Ilham Aliyev regarded the visit of Kvrivishvili to Azerbaijan shortly after taking office as an indicator of close cooperation between the two states.

The Georgian minister emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev is a world -class leader and in Georgia he is considered a friend.

During the conversation, it was emphasized that the bilateral relations covering various spheres have a wide agenda, it was noted that the co -co -worn between Azerbaijan and Georgia are cooperation in the energy and transport spheres and implemented joint projects are of strategic importance not only for our countries, but also for a wider region.

At the meeting, the importance of closer cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats in transport, energy, trade, investment and other areas was affected. The hope of expanding bilateral relations in various directions was expressed.
