Azerbaijani President And Pakistan Prime Minister Discussed Regional Issues

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Hangkendi with Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

noting the high level of organization of the 17th summit of the organization of economic cooperation, the Prime Minister of Pakistan praised the efforts of Azerbaijan to further strengthen the organization.

Sharif emphasized that fraternal relations between countries continue to develop, and with satisfaction remembered the visit to the city of Lachin in May of this year, a tripartite meeting in the format of Azerbaijan – Türkiye – Pakistan. The Prime Minister noted large-scale construction and restoration work carried out in Karabakh, including in the city of Hankendi. He emphasized that bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan are successfully developing in all areas, including in political, economic, trade, investment, energy and other areas.

The head of state thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan for accepting an invitation and participating in the summit.

President Aliyev, in turn, with satisfaction, recalled the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister to Lachyn, conducted discussions in a tripartite format.

During the conversation, cooperation between countries within the framework of international organizations was noted, an exchange of views on regional issues was held.
