Azerbaijani team in judo took first place in the Youth Cup of Europe, held in Turkish Antalya.
Azerbaijani athletes completed a tournament with 4 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals.
The Azerbaijani team took first place in the general medal standings and the second place among girls and boys.
On the first day of the tournament, Azerbaijani judokas won 4 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze medals.
On the second day, among young men, silver medals won MEHDI Abbasov in a weight of 81 kg and subhans ahundes in a weight of +90 kg. Among the girls, Aiten Verdieva became a silver medalist in the weight category 57 kg, and Nilgun Rzayeva – bronze.
Azerbaijan at the European Cup represented 57 athletes.
