Azerbaijani thief in law was imprisoned for 22.5 years

The Moscow City Court appointed imprisonment for a period of 21 years in a maximum regime colony to Azerbaijani thief in the Law of Rashada Ismailov, known in criminal circles as Rashard Ganzhinsky.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow prosecutor’s office.

He was found guilty of the group murder of two persons (part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), occupation of the highest position in the criminal hierarchy (part 1 of article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and the illegal turnover of weapons (part 2 of article 222 of the Criminal Code RF).

Ismailov also imposed an additional punishment – restriction of freedom for a period of 1.5 years after serving a 21 -year period. The prosecution requested 23 years in colony.

according to investigators, the murder was committed on May 13, 2009 in the BMW car. The case was allegedly tied to the struggle of criminal groups for the market for fruit and vegetables in Moscow.

Russian investigators found that in the evening of May 13, 2009, Ismailov, together with the accomplice, came to one of the cafes on Izmailovsky Shosse, where he shot a car of firearms. As a result, two men were killed. Investigators conducted additional interrogations of witnesses, the necessary research, which allowed us to establish Ismailov’s involvement in this murder.

The Russian Investigative Committee believes that these murders contributed to the advance of Ismailov in the criminal hierarchy and the assignment of a “thief in law” with him. In the fall of 2018, during the detention in Minsk, law enforcement agencies found his weapons and drugs.
