Not far from the German city Hildesheim Police detained the driver with Azerbaijani driver’s license, reports HaqQin.az with reference to the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung edition.

Last Sunday, about 5 am, the police noticed the car on the autobahn, which leads from the Kassel to Hannover. The car was surprisingly slow, because of what the crew of the patrol machine of the road police suspected that the driver could be drunk or under the action of drugs. Officers stopped the car to check the man.

The version that the driver drunk was not confirmed. But the police were extremely puzzled when he presented them to Romanian passport and Azerbaijani driver’s license. The officers immediately noticed that the passport was forged. This confirmed the invited specialist familiar with the document. Romanian passport turned out to be a complete fake, and the driver could not submit other identity documents.

Based on a driver’s license issued in Azerbaijan, the road police assumes that the detaineer actually is a citizen of our country and is in the Schengen zone without a visa, a residence permit or any other permission. A criminal case was initiated on the fact of fake documents and illegal residence. The process of deportation began.
