Azerbaijanis began to buy less housing in Turkey

In 2022, Azerbaijani citizens acquired 1 thousand 330 apartments (houses) in Turkey, the Turkish Statistics Institute (Tüi̇k) reports.

In general, in 2022, 67 thousand 490 housing units were sold in Turkey, which was 15.2% exceeded the indicator for 2021.

The Russians became the leaders in terms of housing in Turkey in 2022. According to Tüi̇k, for a year they bought a total of 16 thousand 312 housing units.

Iran citizens purchased 8 thousand 223 apartments last year in Turkey. They are followed by the inhabitants of Iraq, whose share was 6 thousand 241 units of real estate.
