In Geneva, an exhibition-action was held dedicated to the problems of mined territories in the liberated Karabakh and missing during the Karabakh wars. According to Haqqin.az, the event that was held before the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) is organized by the International Development and Law Institute (International Institute for Rightsand Development – Geneva, IRDG).
During the exhibition, posters with the following requirements were demonstrated: “Armenia, present information about missing Azerbaijanis!”, “Armenia continues to commit war crimes, but does not provide maps of the mined territories!”, “Intensively mining the territories freed from occupation creates A serious threat to the life, health and safety of people! ”,“ Each mined mine in the territories liberated from the occupation is the next crime of Armenia! ”,“ People continue to die from the mines placed by the Armenian troops in the liberated territories! ”,“ Stop Armenian aggression! ” .
The event was organized on the eve of plenary discussions at the 51st session of the UN Human Rights Council. The agenda of the session included environmental and humanitarian problems caused by mines.
