Azerbaijan’s cooperation with regions of Russian Federation was discussed in Baku

On Wednesday, April 3, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev accepted the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

According to the report, it was emphasized at the meeting that the cooperation of Azerbaijan with individual regions of Russia, including with St. Petersburg, has contributed to strengthening ties between the two countries.

During the conversation, the confidence was expressed that the visit of the Governor of the city of St. Petersburg to Azerbaijan would give fruitful results and create good opportunities to discuss the prospects of cooperation.

The meeting discussed issues of expanding trade, economic, investment capabilities, strengthening cooperation between the relevant structures in the humanitarian, cultural, educational areas.

“The mutual interest in strengthening relations was noted. The signing of the current intergovernmental commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and St. Petersburg roadmap for the next four years was underlined with satisfaction,” it was in the message.
