The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan has approved the use of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V, the press service of the Ministry of Health told Azeri Daily.
This vaccine has already been registered in more than 50 countries and has demonstrated its high efficiency against coronavirus infection. To date, over 6 million people have been vaccinated with Sputnik V alone in Russia.
Delivery of this vaccine to Azerbaijan will be organized in the near future.
