Azerbaijan’s parliament answered resolution of French Senate

The Committee of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan on international relations and inter -parliamentary relations adopted a statement in connection with the resolution of the French Senate.

The document notes that due to the anti-azerbaijani policy pursued by the French government, including the resolutions adopted so far against Baku in both chambers of the French parliament, relations between the two countries are at the lowest level in history and in fact, may be considered suspended.

The Committee recommended that the Azerbaijan government impose sanctions against France, freeze all kinds of assets of French officials in Azerbaijan, stop all economic ties with France, withdraw all French companies from Azerbaijan, including Total, to prevent the participation of French companies in any projects commissioned Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is instructed to take steps to recognize the independence of Kanaki, Maokhi-Nui and Corsica.
