“In January of the current year, the Azerigaz Production Association took 1 billion 183 million cubic meters of gas. This is 102 million cubic meters more compared to January 2021.” This was stated by the General Director of Azerigaz Ruslan Aliyev, answering questions from media representatives during the next promotion “Open doors” with media representatives.
According to him, the transfer of natural gas to the population exceeded 29 million cubic meters.
During the meeting, the general director brought to the attention of media representatives report on January 2022. He also noted that if in January last year, gas losses amounted to 8.8 percent, then in January of the current this indicator decreased to 6.3 percent. That is, the losses managed to reduce 2.5 percent.
The Director-General also submitted information about the level of payments for consumed gas. According to him, in January of this year, this indicator was 91 percent.
Payments for gas consumption accounted for 95 percent among subscribers from the population category and 87 percent among the rest of the subscribers, Ruslan Aliyev noted. He also stated that 5,903 new subscribers were registered. 5,639 of them belong to the category of population.
Touching the question of the limit, the Director-General noted that last month 98 percent of the subscribers did not exceed 1,2-cubic meters limit. According to him, last month the number of subscribers who passed the limit due to the use of gas amounted to 50,628, which is 2.1 percent of the total number of subscribers of software. It was also noted that last month in 32 villages across the country began construction of gas distribution lines. The total length of the laid gas lines was 13.7 kilometers, of which 1 kilometer was laid in Baku.
During the meeting, Ruslan Aliyev answered other issues of media representatives. Since the action was broadcast live, the general director also answered questions received through social networks.
Ruslan Aliyev said that at the beginning of each month, all statistics on the results of the last month will be presented to representatives of the press and NGOs.
