An next working meeting between Azerigaz and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan took place. This Haqqin.Az reported in the press service of the organization.
It was attended by General Director of Azerigaz Ruslan Aliyev and other Officials of the Association, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Kerimov, as well as the leaders of other structural divisions of the department. During the meeting, issues of the organization of joint activities and phased construction of the relevant infrastructure in settlements located close to forests were discussed.
During the working meeting, the head of the new gasification and development of the Association of Teymur Jafarov said that at present 982 villages are not gasified in Azerbaijan, 426 of which are located near forests. He added that from a feasibility point of view, gasification only 260 such villages will be effective.
In 2022, the production association “Azerigaz” will be carried out on the provision of natural gas 25 of 260 villages. The remaining 235 villages will be fully gasified in the next 5 years.
also at the meeting it was noted that the gasification of new territories would contribute to the improvement of the socio-economic welfare of the population.
