Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry called on the international community for protest in connection with the preserved mine threat in the republic.
“Azerbaijanis continue to become victims of the mines established by the Armed Forces of Armenia. Unfortunately, another peaceful resident died as a result of the explosion of the min,” the department said on Twitter.
According to official Baku that since the end of the war in 2020, the number of victims of anti -personnel mines in the republic has reached 299 people.
“The international community should not be silent against the background of the threat emanating from Armenia,” the message said further.
