Announced the statistics of COVID-19 infection in Azerbaijan. As reported in the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, the largest number of infesses is registered in Baku – about 54.2%.
The second place by the number of infections is occupied by the Absheron district with an indicator of 13.4%, followed by Ganja – 7%, Guba-Khachmaz – 3%, Lankaran – 2.5%, Sheki-Zagatala – 3.6%, Nagorno Shirvan – 2.3% and upper Karabakh – 1.5%. In Nakhchivan, the rate of infection is 0.07%.
In Baku, the largest number of infesses is registered in the Binagadinsky district, there the COVID indicator is 14.6%. Next follows Khatayinsky district – 13.6%, Yasamalsky – 11.8%, Sabunchinsky – 11.8%, in Sabansky – 8.4%, in Narimanovsky – 7.8%, in Nasiminsky- 7.6%, Khazarsky – 7.5%, Nizami – 7.1%, Sabail – 4.9% , Garadagsky – 4.4% and Pirallahinsky districts, in the latter figure is 0.5%.
Since the beginning of the epidemic in Azerbaijan, 485,987 cases of COVID-19 infection were identified, 464,611 people were discharged from hospitals, 6,573 patients were died.
