During the meeting, the peace process was discussed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the current situation in the region, the state and prospects of negotiations between Baku and Yerevan.
Jaykhun Bayramov brought to the attention of Louis Bono that, contrary to his obligations, Armenia did not completely withdraw his armed forces from the territories of Azerbaijan, continues to make claims to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, prevents the discovery of communications, and that all this does not serve the world and stability in region.
At the same time, emphasizing the baselessness of the statements that Azerbaijan allegedly holds Armenian residents of Karabakh in the blockade, and that the Lachin PPP is “illegitimate”, as well as, taking into account the provocations of Armenia on the Lachinsky road, the proposal of Azerbaijan The use of Agdam – Hankendi to help Armenian residents of Karabakh remains in force. It was also noted that the intervention of Armenia in the efforts of the Azerbaijani side to reintegrate Armenian residents of Karabakh is unacceptable.
The parties also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
