Baku court again arrested a police officer

Based on the prosecutor’s complaint in the Baku appeal, an appeal protest was considered for the sentence to the former police officer Tural Makhmudov, accused of drug trafficking.

It is noted that the judicial board chaired by Judge Rashard Abdulov completely canceled the verdict of the court of first instance (restriction of freedom), considering it too soft for the prosecution.

Former police officer was arrested in the courtroom.

Recall that Tural Makhmudov was arrested by the Main Directorate for the Combating of the Drugs of the Ministry of the Interior. He was charged with the investigative body under article 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, shipping or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances committed on a large amount).
