In the Baku court for serious crimes, the trial in the criminal case of a 24-year-old resident Baku Rasim Kerimov, accused of causing serious harm to health, was completed.
According to haqqın.az, on the morning of April 21 of this year, Karimov had a slight conflict on household grounds with Zia Zakirov, who was treated with him in the narcological center. During a quarrel, Kerimov hit Zakirov’s head in his face. The latter hit the wall and fell, having received serious injuries.
Rasim Karimov was charged under Article 126.1 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of serious harm to health). The accused pleaded guilty of the charges against him. In his testimony, he stated that he was in a narcological dispensary about a week before the incident. According to Kerimov, the victim in a rude form demanded that he take his cup to the dining room. The defendant said he regrets the deed. The victim Zia Zakirov said that he had reconciled with Kerimov and he has no complaints.
