At the initial stage of the anti-terrorist operation in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, more than 200 optical-electronic cameras and surveillance cameras belonging to Armenia were disabled. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

“At the initial stage of the anti -terrorist operation carried out by the Azerbaijani army in the Karabakh region, the means of tracking and observing the Armenia Armed Forces in the trenches, on fire positions and supporting points, as well as in places, were disabled as legitimate military goals. constant deployment, ”the report said.

The department noted that more than 200 optical-electronic chambers and surveillance cameras of the Armed Forces of Armenia were made by artisanal and installed at an altitude of 10-15 and 20-30 meters along the contact line up to 480 kilometers, in order to monitor movements units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and civilians, the implementation of sabotage activities of various nature against them.

“Optical -electronic chambers and observations of the Armed Forces of Armenia, found in the Karabakh economic district with our intelligence agents, were disabled using high -precision weapons available in the Azerbaijani Army,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
