Azerbaijan expects from the Armenian side of the political will to overcome disagreements in three specific directions that form a summons of bilateral discussions.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jaykhun Bayramov during a speech at a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
“In this context, the continuation of the Armenia of the illegal military presence in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan, regular intervention in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan, the obstruction of the dialogue between the central authorities of Azerbaijan and the indigenous residents of the Karabakh region of Armenian origin, as well as the holding of a slander campaign on an international scale, in including within the framework of the OSCE, are the main obstacles in the negotiation process to normalize interstate relations, ”the minister said.
According to Bayramov, in the framework of the process of normalizing Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, negotiations are underway on the text of a peace agreement.
The Minister noted that negotiations in Washington, Brussels, Moscow and Chisinau have passed over the past few weeks allowed to better understand the position of the parties.
