The steps to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia come across an unconstructive position of Armenia and its constant provocations.
This was stated by the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Jahun Bayramov at a meeting with the deputy head of the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania Mantas Ademenas, the press service of the Azerbaijani diplomatic notice.
Bayramov informed in detail about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period carried out on the territories of Azerbaijan, recovery and reconstruction, opening transport and communications in the region, efforts to promote a peaceful agenda.
Detailed information on illegal activities on the Lachin-Hankendi road was given, it is emphasized that Azerbaijan’s institution will ensure transparency and safety.
Mantas Ademenas noted that Lithuania is interested in the further development of relations with Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that peace and security in the region will be ensured, said that the Lithuanian side is ready to support in this direction.
The meeting also took an exchange of views on other issues representing mutual interest.
