This was said by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Aikhan Hajizade, commenting on the anti-azerbaijani statement of Michael O’Flartort.
He called the mentioned statement by another unsuccessful attempt to intervene in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan and trials.
Ayhan Gadjizade emphasized that in accordance with national legislation, international obligations in the Azerbaijan Republic, all human rights and freedoms are guaranteed and complete respect for them is ensured. Along with this, these rights and freedoms are protected by the well -established judicial institutions of Azerbaijan that carry out independent activities.
“The guarantee of the rule of law, provided by Azerbaijan in its sovereign territory, does not mean that some persons will be provided with some special privileges in connection with their professional activities, and also does not exempt them from the need to comply with national legislation. At the same time, the Commissioner of Human Rights has been charged with a rough violation of the legislation in relation to the mentioned persons. An investigation was investigated against them. carried out with strict observance of the Code of Criminal Procedure, all their rights were fully secured.
We are calling for the commissar of the European Council for Human Rights to refrain from interfering in the work of independent judicial bodies of Azerbaijan and attempts to provide pressure on them, and instead focus on numerous systematic problems in the field of human rights that exist in a number of countries growing Islamophobia, humiliating treatment of migrants and refuge, political persecution, facts of death. In prisons, widespread corruption in European institutions, ”said the official representative of the Foreign Ministry.
