The head of the Kurdish regional administration of Iraq (Territory), Masarur Barzani said that the authorities would not allow the use of the region to destabilize the situation in neighboring countries.
Barzani announced this at a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan in Erbil.
Barzani noted that the visit of the Turkish delegation led by Hakan Fidan clearly demonstrates the parties in the development of relations. According to him, during negotiations with Fidan, important issues of the regional agenda were discussed.
“In particular, they discussed the development of connections between Iraq and Turkey, including from the region,” he said.
Barzani assured that the edges will not allow the use of the region to destabilize the situation in neighboring countries.
The head of the region expressed the hope of continuing cooperation with Turkey in the fight against all manifestations of terrorism.
