Syria President Bashar Assad, speaking on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of independence – the day of evacuation of the French and British colonial troops, declared the firm intention to restore the national sovereignty over the entire territory of the country, writes TASS.
According to Assad, genuine independence will come for us when all foreign troops are derived from Syria, sovereignty will be restored on the entire territory of the country. The Syrian leader visited the location area of one of the military units and talked with soldiers and officers.
