Bayramov and Dumon discussed normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations

On Thursday, September 29, Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov met with the adviser to the President of France for Continental Europe and Turkey Isabelle Dumon, the press service of the foreign policy of Azerbaijan reports.

During the meeting, the issues of bilateral political and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and France, tension in the region, as well as the necessary steps in the direction of the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Jaykhun Bayramov provided detailed information about Armenia provocations in the border regions, noting Yerevan’s failure to fulfill his obligations within the framework of the agreements reached at the Leaders’ level, and said that this impedes international efforts on the normalization process.

Minister Bayramov spoke in detail about the position of Azerbaijan to ensure stability in the region, open communications with Armenia, the process of delimitation and signing a peace agreement.

In turn, Isabelle Dumon emphasized the need to stabilize the situation in the region, compliance with the ceasefire, the process of normalizing and resuming negotiations. She noted that the French side is ready to support in this process.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other regional issues.
