Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Drian held meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan by Jayhun Bayramov and the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ararat Mirzoyan in the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the press service of the French Foreign Ministry said.
“After the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, Jeahun Bayramova and Ararat Mirzoyan accepted Jajahuna. He spent first separately with them, and then a joint meeting under the patronage of the OSCE Minsk Group,” the ministry says. / P>
During these meetings, French Foreign Minister repeated the desire to promote the intensification of the dialogue between the parties in the interests of the long-term world in the South Caucasus.
Le Drian also stressed that “France advocates the active efforts of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for achieving this goal” and expressed readiness for negotiations at the political level with their colleagues.
