On September 14, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jaykhun Bayramov, with a special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydki, was held, Azerbaijan was said.
According to the report, during the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the humanitarian and cultural spheres of the agenda of bilateral cooperation of Azerbaijan and Russia, discussed the implementation of the relevant measures on a bilateral and regional basis.
Jaihun Bayramov informed Mikhail Shvydky about tension in the region that arose as a result of provocations of Armenia. He noted the proposal of Azerbaijan unilaterally Armenia of the humanitarian ceasefire, adding that the aggravation and destabilization of the situation is not in the interests of Azerbaijan.
Mikhail Shvydka expressed hope for the cessation of clashes. He noted that he was always ready to support the development of relations of cooperation in the humanitarian and cultural spheres, the creation of confidence measures.
