Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jahun Bayramov thanked the former Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu for his contribution to Azerbaijani-Turkish relations.
This was the head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission during a telephone conversation with Chavushoglu on Sunday, June 4.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Bayramov noted with satisfaction the activities carried out by Mevlut Chavushoglu in the direction of further strengthening of fraternal and allied relations between the two countries at a high level. The Minister expressed deep appreciation to the Turkish diplomat and wished success in further work.
Chavushoglu, in turn, expressed gratitude and emphasized that during his stay in the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs, he always promoted the interests of Azerbaijan and Turkey and will continue to contribute to the development of fraternal and allied relations between the two countries.
