Belarus and Kazakhstan develop cooperation in field of information technology

Belarus and Kazakhstan discussed the possibility of using developments on a number of advanced solutions in the field of information technology (IT). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus.

On Wednesday, March 27, a meeting of the Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan with the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baghdat Musin was a meeting in Astana.

On the agenda there was the development and strengthening of cooperation in the field of IT, digital development and innovation between the two countries.

The meeting participants discussed the possibility of using developments on a number of advanced IT solutions affecting the sphere of public administration of Kazakhstan to solve the problems of the development of the electronic government and digitalize public administration in Belarus.

In particular, the process of implementation in Belarus of Kazakhstani experience in identifying users of public services by means of QR signation, the introduction of the Smart Bridge platform and the super-application of Kaspi.kz, as well as the data catalog on the Electronic Government portal and digital service National reference information “.

Thanks to the implementation of the Digital Government project, each citizen will save his time and will not spend it on the queue or receive a certificate, but uses it on what he needs, said during the meeting Konstantin Shulgan.

He noted that the Digital Development Center has been created in Belarus, which is implementing almost this project.

“The constructive and coordinated interaction between our countries will be indicative from the point of view of communication within the framework of the RSC, and will demonstrate as interaction leads to an improvement in the implementation of projects in our countries,” said Schulgan.

Both ministers expressed their readiness to expand cooperation and exchange experience in the field of digitalization of the economy and society, which opens up new prospects for the innovative development of both countries.
