Belarus and Nicaragua signed number of cooperation agreements

Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik, in the frame of his visit to Nicaragua, held negotiations with the country’s president Daniel Ortega Saadrara and vice president of Rosario Murillo Sambran, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

In the course of a visit, the parties confirmed the intention to activate cooperation to achieve their goals.

Aleinik handed over to President Nicaragua conveyed congratulations to the head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko in connection with the 44th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinist revolution.

Following the results of negotiations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs signed an intergovernmental agreement on mutual cancellation of visas and an intergovernmental agreement on the creation of a joint commission on trade and economic cooperation. The road map of cooperation in the field of agriculture was approved.

The General Director of MTZ OJSC signed a frame contract for the supply of products of the Belarusian plant to Nicaragua for a two -year period. The representative of MAZ OJSC with the mayor of the capital Managua also entered into a contract for the supply of Belarusian equipment. An agreement has been reached on the supply of 236 units of equipment of AMKODOR OJSC for the construction industry and utilities of Nicaragua.
