In Minsk, a meeting was held between the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus, Major General Pavel Muraveiko, and the Chief of the General Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Issa Seif Almazrui.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported this on Thursday, October 9.
It is reported that the negotiations took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and constructive dialogue.
The parties discussed current issues of military cooperation, exchanged experience in the field of combat training.
“The meeting participants paid tribute to those who died during the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers at the monument on Victory Square in Minsk,” follows from the publication of the Belarusian defense department in the Telegram channel.
Also on October 9, the Minister of Defense of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, will meet with Lieutenant General Issa Seif Almazrui.
