Belarusian President expressed hope for an imminent meeting with Turkish colleague

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the Turkish colleague of Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his 70th anniversary and expressed hope for an imminent meeting.

“I hope for an imminent meeting, which will certainly open a new page in the relationship of Minsk and Ankara,” the congratulatory text says.

Lukashenko noted that he knows Erdogan, as a persistent and wise politician and a person who is completely devoted to serving the interests of his homeland.

“You have achieved significant achievements in the state field, implemented yourself in various industries. Extraordinary professional activity, characteristic of you, have a charisma and pragmatism,” said the President of Belarus.


Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that there are still many ideas and plans that need to be implemented for future Turkey.

The President of Belarus wished his colleague good health, optimism, success and bright ideas for the benefit of the friendly Turkish people.
