In turn, Mayan Sandu President said that Belgium, one of the six founding countries, firmly supports Moldova in her desire to become part of a large European family.
“Young people will benefit from entering the EU primarily, so it is extremely important that their voices are heard so that the choice made today is reflected in the future, in the formation of European Moldova as they want it,” Sandu said .
The head of state urged the younger generation to be active, participate and promote European values, including in a referendum this fall.
“European integration is not a policy and party, European integration is a project of the country, a project of everyone, but it is about how the next generation will live in the world, in the European, democratic, prosperous and safe country,” – The Moldavian leader said.
