The head of the region later said that a missile hazard was launched in Belgorod and the Belgorod district and urged citizens not to approach the windows, or to go down to shelter or other safe place.
After about an hour, Gladkov said that the air defense system was again working on Belgorod and the Belgorod district and 5 air targets were knocked down on the city.
“According to preliminary data, there are no injuries. Belgorod is damaged in several apartments in 1 MKD, windows are also knocked out and facades in two private households were knocked out and the outbuilding was damaged in the third private household,” the governor said.
