Bidden is dissatisfied with number of members of UN Security Council

“Washington advocates the expansion of the UN Security Council, including at the expense of new permanent members.” This was stated by US President Joe Biden during the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

He noted that “the time has come for the UN to become a more inclusive organization that will react more efficiently to the needs of the modern world.”

Today, the constant members of the UN Security Council are Russia, China, Great Britain, France and the USA.
