US President Joe Biden called on UN Security Council to intervene in regional crises, unfolding in Myanmar, Ethiopia, Libya, Syria and Yemen. This is reported by Anadolu.
His call the American leader voiced on the online meeting with the permanent representatives of the UN Security Council, the press service of the White House.
At the meeting, Biden stressed the global leadership of the United States, their commitment to values and strengthening relations with international organizations, such as the UN.
Also, the American leader informed Washington’s readiness to officially join the UN initiative group of friends “Climate and Security”.
