France President Emmanuel Macron and his American colleague Joe Biden met in the French Embassy in the Vatican, this is the first meeting of two leaders since the crisis in relations related to the rupture of the submarine contract, RIA Novosti reports.
France leaders and the USA warmly welcomed each other. At the same time, the American president was late for a meeting with Macron more than an hour. Tensions in relations between Washington and Paris originated due to the new Aukus partnership concluded between Australia, Great Britain and the United States.
