US President Joe Biden spent a telephone conversation on Saturday with an ex-presidential candidate of Belarus and the representative of the Belarusian opposition of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. This was reported by the press service of the White House.
According to this data, Biden talked to Tikhanovsky, being on board the presidential aircraft. “He thanked her for presenting at his present speech in Warsaw. The President stressed the ongoing support from the United States of Belarus in the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights, including freedom of expression, as well as free and fair elections,” – Studies in the text.
