The President of the United States Joe Biden sent a request to the Congress to provide more than $ 37 billion as emergency assistance to Ukraine, writes Associated Press.
He is sure that the infusion of cash can support Ukraine. Of the 37 billion 21.7 billion dollars can be adopted, 14.5 billion will become financial assistance, 626 million are used to support the energy sector, and 900 million can be spent on the healthcare system.
This caused an ambiguous reaction among the authorities. The leader of the Republicans in the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy warned that the Republicans would not support the discharge of such a volume of assistance to Ukraine if they receive a majority in the House of Representatives.
