The White House on Monday plans to announce the upcoming trip of US President Joe Biden to Saudi Arabia. This was reported on Saturday with reference to sources in the American administration of The Wall Street Journal.
According to her, Biden intends to visit the kingdom as part of a wider trip to the region, during which he is also going to make a stop in Israel. The sources of the newspaper note that at the moment, the American leader plans to meet with the Crown Prince Muhammad Ben Salman Al Saud.
On Saturday, Biden said that he had not yet made a final decision on his possible visit to Saudi Arabia. At the same time, he mentioned the “more general” meeting in the kingdom dedicated to security issues, the journalists of the White House press pool said.
