Billionaire Anisimov chose Croatian Russian citizenship

Russian billionaire Vasily Anisimov, who owns the development company Coalco International, changed his citizenship to the Croatian and went to live in Switzerland.

Forbes Russia writes that this became known from the documents submitted by Anisimov to the British Registration Chamber. The Degelov UK company is registered in Britain, which belongs to Anisimov and Yakov Klebanov. Anisimov submitted applications for a change in citizenship on June 2 and September 28, respectively.

Degelov UK owns the Stepnogorsk Mining and Chemical Plant in Kazakhstan. Anisimova and Klebvanova, the company develops molybdenum, copper and uranium mines in the Akmola and Almaty regions of Kazakhstan, including one of the largest uranium deposits “Budenovskoye”.
